Rectory Meadow Development
Rectory Meadow is a unique development of detached family homes.
Each property is accessed from the Cul-de-sac St.Peters view aptly
named, as St. Peters Church can be seen across the adjacent colne
valley. Rectory Meadow is set among an array of mature trees with
the lower parts of the site being included within a dedicated conservation
area. The first phase of the Rectory Meadow Development was completed
in 2004, with many of the residents commuting to London. Now with
maturity the completed homes, distinctive in character, provide
an appealing environment.
The Hedinghams
Rectory Meadow is situated in the picturesque older part of Sible
Hedingham. The village extends into Castle Hedingham with its main
street full of historic and listed buildings providing restaurants,
pubs, quaint shops and local stores.
Church
Sible Hedingham church, St. Peters, is a neat and spacious building,
supposed to have been erected in the reign of Edward III.
